One of Coolerguys' latest offerings is the Dual 120x120x25mm PWM Fans with a thermostat controller kit. This thermostatically speed-controlled fan kit can be programmed to your specific settings, ensuring a delicate balance between noise and airflow.

The two pulse-width modulation (PWM) fans will automatically ramp up in speed as the environment heats up, and slow down as it cools off. The corners are padded with silicone rubber feet to dampen noise and provide additional grip, making these fans ideal for critical systems where higher airflow is needed while minimizing noise, such as home entertainment systems, yachts, aquarium cabinets and hoods, RV cabinets, and exterior AV systems.

The included thermostat controller allows you to control the temperature and set a program. To operate, simply connect the red wire to a +12-volt power source and the black wire to the ground. After connecting a standard PWM fan to ensure it's working, you can enter the programming mode by pressing the small button once. From there, you can adjust the fan's baseline speed by double-clicking the button to decrease or single-clicking to increase the speed by 5%. The system will automatically save the parameters after 20 seconds.
